Waterfront
Enjoy our private beach, where the water is reliably shallow for
carefree swimming or splashing, and the sand is perfect for lazing in
the sun or playing. There’s plenty of room for relaxing, and for having
fun in the water.

Our waterfront equipment includes canoes, water skis, kayak, pedal boat,
kneeboard and sea biscuit. Government approved life jackets are
available. There’s also fishing off the dock (catch and release) for
rock bass, sunfish, smallmouth bass and catfish.
Sunbeam Bungalows has the largest deck on the lake, for the exclusive
use of guests— a 2,500 sq. ft deck extending 80 feet into the lake, with
a stairway down to shallow water.
The deck is set up for your enjoyment with lounge chairs, a
covered gazebo, barbecue and picnic tables with umbrellas. The deck is
where you can relax at any time of day. It’s also where we and our
guests gather to watch the amazing Callander Bay sunsets.

As a guest, you also have access to the
Sunbeam marina, featuring:
- Excellent docking facilities for private boats
- Private launch ramp into deep water
- 18ft fiberglass boats complete with fish finder, cushioned
swivel seats and 25 hp electric start motors
- Walkways beside boats for ease of loading
- Government approved life jackets available in the boathouse
- Complimentary coloured map of the lake to help you find the best
fishing holes

- Fish cleaning station with running water
- Free freezer service
- Fish cleaning lessons (as needed)
- Fishing licenses and bait for sale on site
